Thursday Tanka 1

Soreness grips my legs.

Glutes, calves, shins, hamstrings throbbing.

I can’t roll over

I want to let the ache pass

But I need to get to work

 

Oh for some Bengay!

Pain invades my shoulders, abs,

Biceps, triceps, lats.

Will I ever recover

From that fierce weight-training class?
